The Impossible God by Laurie Smith

Down through the ages, since the beginning of time
Great leaders of God, in the bible I've read
Abraham and Moses, who gave all of themselves
To do such great things, by the impossible God

In the den of the lions, stood Daniel the Great
There was Noah and his family, the ark that they built
Isaac and Elijah were great servants of God
To do such great things, by the impossible God

As time has gone by, a great Child has been born
His life on this earth, was to save all mankind
The healing He did, to the blind and the sick
He did such great things, by the impossible God

Someday we'll all meet, great leaders of God
But first we must do, what God wants us to do
To ask Our Lord Jesus, to come into our hearts
He'll do such great things, by the impossible God

Smile by Kristina Garrett

He sits by himself,
He hangs his head low.
Everyone mocks him,
Love, he doesn't know.
Often he thinks of ending his life,
Anything to end all this pain and strife.
It's so hard to make it through just one day,
The escape of death seems to be the only way.
He looks around and thinks "nobody cares 'bout me",
Hate everywhere is all he could see.
He makes up his mind, he'll do it tonight,
He'll end his life, nothing more in for him in sight.
But wait, someone smiles at him and says hello,
A simple gesture of love, the love he doesn't know.
This gesture of love changes his mind,
This simple act of being kind.

Teach Me by Aaron I. Guadarrama

Take my life, and let it be, do as your will my Lord with me.
I can't live on my own and try to rely on my own strength,
Make my heart your home, before it's too late.
I want to be a living sacrifice, and I know what it will mean,
So please teach me Lord, that I may be pleasing.
Teach me to lay down my life, which means to sacrifice,
Teach me to take up my cross, which means to die like Christ.
Teach me to pray like the prayers said at Gethsemane,
Which means to let the Fathers will be done,
Teach me Lord, His cup I do drink, His will be done.
Teach me to be last in line, which means to be first at your gate,
Teach me to be someone's servant, you said I'd be called great.
Teach me to live as Christ, which means to die is gain,
Teach me to be humbled as a child, which means I'll be welcomed in your Kingdom.
Teach me to finish running this race, which means to run after the prize.
Teach me to thirst after you, which means you will quench my thirst, and I'll be satisfied.
Teach me to keep asking which means I'll be given an answer,
Teach me to keep seeking you Lord which means I'll shall find my Father.
Teach me to keep knocking which means the door will be open;
Teach me to be always persistent which means not give up searching.
Teach me to be faithful and true when I feel weak,
Which means you will be strong and will see me through and set me on my feet.
Teach me to stand, when being always tempted beyond I can bear,
Which means you will find a way for me overcome because you do care.
Teach me always to let you prune me I know this will help,
Which means it is a daily job but I have to die to self.
Teach me to walk in love, which means love my enemies to.
Teach me to walk in joy, which means in everything I may go through.
Teach me to live in peace, which means I'm in your hands.
Teach me to live always Lord, according to your plans. In everything I do Lord,
In great or small, I pray I let you always direct my life according to the call.
I just want to be pleasing, always obedient when you speak.
Never wavering, oh Lord, please always, always teach me.
